Attitude of Gratitude... 30 Days of Thanksgiving! Days 19 & 20

DAYS 19 & 20
Time... Where does it go? It seems to stand still when one is waiting in line, or sitting in the waiting room at a doctor's office. On the other hand, one can spend an hour or two scrolling through Facebook, yet it seems like 5 minutes, or doing your favorite activity with your favorite people, it seems to fly by.
We all have 24 hours, or 1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds, to spend each day. if you want to track how much time you spend doing something, set a timer for what you need to do or get done. For example, set a timer for 10 minutes to empty the dishwasher and refill it. Did you get it done with time to spare, or were you needing a few minutes more? Set a timer for 10 minutes to scroll through Social Media, or post for your business page or profile. How many posts did you actually read or get posted in the time allotted?
It's not that we need more time, it is that we need to manage our time diligently, as each minute we've been given is a gift.
I know on my busiest days, there are ample opportunities to save or conserve time. If I'm mindful of it, I can get through the day with time to spare. It doesn't happen everyday, but it happens more than it used to. Giving my daily calendar to God each morning asking Him to direct my steps and establish them, seems to work well for me. I accomplish much on the days that I am diligent to do this.
How much time do you have today to accomplish what you need or want to?
Speaking of time, I'm a day behind on the blog, so here's to catching up!
