Attitude of Gratitude... 30 Days of Thanksgiving! Day 9

Day 9
I am determined to complete my 30 days of gratitude blog by the end of the month, I just may not have every day posted on time. :-)
This picture is indicative of what is happening today where I live. It is currently 26ºand feels like 14º and the temperature is dropping. A co-worker sent a staff email out last year stating, "If you don't enjoy the snow, you'll have the same amount of snow in your life, but less joy." It really made me think about how negative I can become as the long winters of SD creep in early in the fall. I have warm boots, coats, gloves, scarves, hats, a warm apartment, an additional space heater, many blankets and plenty of warm and cozy clothes, so I really have much to be thankful for.
Today I am grateful for:
Winter coats with furry hoods
Warm boot socks
A garage to park my car in during the winter months
A car heater that works
A car that handles the elements well
The pristine beauty of white snow on bare gray tree branches or evergreen trees
The city and county workers who keep our sidewalks and street cleared of ice and snow
Snow Angels
