Attitude of Gratitude... 30 Days of Thanksgiving! Day 21

DAY 21
I have to say, there is something magical about Christmas Lights! I love the tradition we started a couple of years ago of piling in Lindsay's van in our jammies with hot cocoa and driving around Sioux Falls looking at Christmas lights; ooooing and ahhing at the colors, the intricacy, the simplicity, the wonder of the bright lights and lighted yard art! Christmas music is usually playing or Christmas songs are being sung. Fun times, for sure! It is especially magical when there is snow, as the lights are so much brighter and more twinkly with the white backdrop.
Is there a tradition surrounding the holidays that is your favorite? If not, get creative and think of something you can start this year. What better year than 2020 to make a positive and lasting memory for years to come?
Today, I am grateful for:
Popcorn - I'm sure I've listed this one before but it does deserve repeating
Christmas lights on houses and businesses - so many up already - makes me smile
A super kind store employee today made smile
Finding a friend's lost iPhone bluetooth ear bud in Aldi's parking lot... It was crushed, but at least it has been confirmed that she did indeed lose it in Aldi's parking lot yesterday
My friend having a day that was better than expected
God's sovereignty - Seems like I am just really beginning to understand what this entails
Being able to work today.
More work on Monday - It's been a little scarce due to covid
My sisters in law - I don't get to see them often, but glad my brothers have great wives
My sons in law: Matt and Lane - They are the sons I never had and are good husbands to my daughters and fathers to my grands
Handcrafted wood bowls
Coasters
Chai Tea bags - bears repeating
Favorite coffee/tea mugs
Sleep apps - I like knowing if I snored and how long
Potted Rosemary trees - The fragrance is so yum
Cuckoo clocks and clocks that chime
A really good rubber / silicone spatula
Waterless cookware - I don't own any, but I it's on my "Someday List"
My home - it is just what I need
A roaring fire in a fireplace
