Attitude of Gratitude... 30 Days of Thanksgiving! Day 11

DAY 11
Today is Veterans Day! I am grateful for the men and women who have served to help keep our country free and to help liberate other countries. I did not come from a military family. I do remember having one uncle, my uncle Richard who wasin the Vietnam war. I was 8 or 9 and remember writing him letters and cookies, and being afraid for him. He was one of the fortunate ones to make it home.
Close to 50 years later my niece Kristina joined the Army. She and her husband Joe serve in the Armed Forces and I'm so proud of them and their dedication to help keep our freedoms!
Thank a Veteran today!
