Attitude of Gratitude... 30 Days of Thanksgiving! Day 11

DAY 11

Today is Veterans Day! I am grateful for the men and women who have served to help keep our country free and to help liberate other countries. I did not come from a military family. I do remember having one uncle, my uncle Richard who wasin the Vietnam war. I was 8 or 9 and remember writing him letters and cookies, and being afraid for him. He was one of the fortunate ones to make it home.

Close to 50 years later my niece Kristina joined the Army. She and her husband Joe serve in the Armed Forces and I'm so proud of them and their dedication to help keep our freedoms!

Thank a Veteran today!

Today I'm grateful for:

  1. Kristina and Joe! Thank you for your active duty to serve our country!

  2. Maggie McDowell - who went right into the service after graduation in the midst of the 2020 craziness

  3. All of those who have given their lives serving our country

  4. All those who have served our country

  5. All those who are currently serving our great country

  6. All the family and friends of the many who gave their lives for our freedom

  7. Freedom - It was for freedom that Christ has set us free

  8. The Constitution of the United states and all the freedoms we have under it

  9. Chai spiced coffee: Decaf coffee, Macadamia Nut Milk, Cinnamon, Cardamom, cloves, allspice and nutmeg - delightful on a cold day

  10. Dennis - my womb mate, brother, friend, bread baker extraordinaire, computer genius and thinker of great thoughts

  11. Bruce -my older brother who is compassionate and has more amazing creative, artistic talent than any one person I know
